Core Working Committee
This page explains role and constitution of Core Working Committees(CWCs), defined in this Open Constitution.
Foundation's community shall appoint and constitute several Core Working Committees(CWCs), as member bodies within the Foundation's Open Constitution.
These CWCs shall be linked to the different organs of Foundation, namely different Councils of this global co-operative.
CWCs generally comprise of subject matter researchers, such as members affiliated to STEM(Science Technology Engineering Mathematics).
CWC members may also come from diverse fields of industry, academia, art and music.
CWCs are classified into two types:
Each project has a self governing and autonomous Core Working Group.
"Project CWC" members are generally the core work group for a specific project of the Foundation.
Primary Role: CWC appointed to a "Project" also maintains the project's lifecycle within the Foundation's community.
Self Governance: Steering Council members, (appointed to a "Project") along with members from the Project CWC, independently decide on the workings and functioning of their Project CWC. These members collectively decide and maintain, and observe the protocols of their Project CWC's governance on their own, well within the Foundation's guiding principles and this Open Constitution.
CWC chair is the member who leads each Project CWC.
All the members of Steering Council(appointed to all projects) ratify the proposed constitution of a project's CWC.
For these Open Council Committees - Media, Regulations, Legal, Observation, Executive, Treasury, "Independent CWCs" shall be constituted.
Executive CWC(call announced for active Fiscal Hosts)
Observation CWC(call not announced)
Treasury CWC(call announced for active Fiscal Hosts)
Primary Role: Members appointed to the Independent CWC, contribute to the core functioning of a specific Open Council Committee.
Independent CWCs are a self governing, autonomous constitutional body. The fundamental roles of these Independent CWCs are listed on the pages further describing each of them.
Independent CWCs appointed to a specific Open Council Committee also maintains the specific Council Committee's lifecycle.
Self Governance: Members of an Independent CWC independently decide the workings and functioning of their group. These members collectively decide, maintain, and observe the protocols of their Independent CWC's constitution on their own, well within the Foundation's guiding principles and this Open Constitution.
