๐Ÿ’‚Independent Board

This page lists Independent Board of Fiscal Hosts, after a legal body adopts Foundation's Global Statutes.

A jurisdiction-based Independent Board acts as a ratification agency of the Executive Council's Resolutions; community recommendations, appointments to Council, and Amendments to Open Constitution, including but not limited to decisions made by the Steering Council members w.r.t community movement.

These recommendations are generally made by the Chancellor of the Executive Council to the Independent Boards in periodical public reports.

Independent Board also ratifies the counsel of each of the Council bodies, generally represented by the Executive Council members in the monthly Council meetings and public reports.

An Independent Board in each jurisdiction guards the Muellners Foundation Member Data Registry.

What is a Fiscal Host?

A Fiscal host is a legal representative body, nominated by, and appointed by the Independent Board, Muellners Foundation, EEA based on the counsel of the Executive Council of the Open Council. Independent Boards constitutionally represent the Foundation in local jurisdictions, and support the maintenance of the constituent Fiscal body, in compliance with Local Law.

Fiscal Host informs themselves and responds to what is relevant in local jurisdictions for non-profits or co-operatives. There are many elements to local statutory reporting, and compliance, which the Fiscal Hosts fulfill:

1. Maintaining a local member registry, 2. Administering public grants, 3. Hiring of officers of the Foundation in compliance with local labor laws of a UN member state.

4. Maintaining custody of ESG Funds in compliance with regulations of local financial services and supervisory authorities.

5. Filing of public interest litigation on a locally relevant issue of public interest, covered within the Foundation's objectives.

6. Appointment of Independent Data Protection Officers.

A duly appointed Independent Board of a Fiscal Host, in a jurisdiction, covered by the Foundation, relies on Steward Group(a minimum number of CWC appointments) for core maintenance of Fiscal representation of the Foundation in a region.

Independent Board members review the statutory existence of the Foundation's registered agent or Fiscal Host.

An Independent Board is also required as a principal agency to ensure the Foundation remains in compliance with its legal structure.

The Independent Board is a local jurisdiction-based ratification agency for the Foundation's community.
