๐กSelfless Contribution
This page describes the design principles of the Open Constitution network's Selfless Contributions community consensus protocol.
The Foundation's community establishes a governance equilibrium with a Selfless contribution protocol.
Selfless contribution is a community consensus protocol.
Selfless: For anonymised contributions clarifications on a project or a program.
Open Governance decisions influence or continue to influence the Foundation's roadmap, direction and active steering.
Selfless contribution consensus is applied to a project motion, for a designated period of time.
Selfless contribution is designed for open governance which is contextual to a single constitutional body or single-project or single-program.
All Core Working Committee members, different Open Council body members, Ambassador Council members, or the Chancellor of the Executive Council can apply Selfless contribution consensus.
The selfless contribution should not be applied to constitutional bodies which require immediate emergency attention i.e. proposals or change requests which have already received a Privilege Motion.
The selfless contribution Protocol is generally applied by Council or Committee Chairs who have a strong reason to do so. Decisions are logged on the Open Constitution Governance System, with the Selfless Contribution Protocol.
